Another Knitalong?

Annie had the excellent idea of a Sunrise Circle Jacket Knitalong! I think I could handle another KAL, in spite of signing up for Eunny's Stole-along, which is highly likely to kick my butt. Besides, I've been thinking that I haven't knit a sweater in awhile.
Edited to say: Mintyfresh helpfully pointed out that there already is a knitalong for this beautiful jacket. So if you want to knitalong, go here! I'm heading over there now to sign up.

I wondered if anyone would be making that. It did peak my interest, but I'm a little skeptical until I see it on a few more people! I do keep going back to that page, though...
Someone on the knitty boards started a KAL--but I couldn't get the blog to load. Maybe she's Annie? Anyway, you should check over there (do a search for Sunrise Circle Jacket Knitalong).
Me me me . . . I'm in!!! I just ordered the yarn for it the minute I read your blog. Flying Fingers Yarn Shop has a sale on some of the colors here!!! I ordered the Cranberry. I was afraid the pattern might be too hard for me, but with a KAL for help I feel like I could try it.
I am soooo tempted. Gotta think about it.
Very nice jacket! I don't even have my IK yet, so I have to think about it. I'm also feeling a bit snowed under with projects.
Okay, haven't actually commented in a long time, so *waving* hi!
I too like the jacket, but honestly, way too many projects going on right now to do an official knitalong. I'm so bad at them. What yarn are you thinking of using? I saw on Janette's Rare Yarns on ebay (check my sidebar for the link) that she's selling Debbie Bliss Aran Tweed for $3.50 a ball (then a lot of shipping $13 for 10 balls, but I still think it'll even out in the end)...
you are wearing me OUT! ha hahahahaha!!!
I'm so excited someone else is going to do all of hard work, and we just get to join in! Don't you love blogland? I am joining for sure, but now I'm worried when I'll get time to finish Sylvie and Sunrise.
Before I clicked on your post, I had to remind myself to remain strong and undaunted by your subliminal and overt messages to join another KAL. ;-) Just kidding! I caved and joined Eunny's Stole-along, for which Eunny promised to (and I quote!) "repay Laura for the favor, hehe." ;-) I'm totally stoked and excited about that KAL- are you going to be using cob or laceweight? I'm thinking of going with laceweight instead- I'm sure it'll already be kicking my butt with adding spider thread-like "yarn" to the deal! I'm loving the Sunrise Circle Jacket, but I'm not sure if I could pull that look off. I'll have to wait till IK hits the stands so I can have a better look-see at it. Your Monday poem was absolutely beautiful. Take care, missy! :-)
Aw, crap. I really love that jacket--and actually got 3 (count 'em THREE) people to buy yarn for it at SnB Sunday when I mentioned that the pattern was free on IK's site. *grin* I guess, if I'm going to be such an enabler, I should probably jump in the deep end, myself. . .
Gimme some time to think about it. :)
Oh, so tempted, yet, oh, so broke! Someday...
I like that jacket too. I'm wondering how it will look knit up with hand-painted yarn.
Of course, I have fifty million other things that I want to knit, the yarn for 4 projects idling by, and a husband wondering why I need more yarn. No Sunrise for me for the time being.
oooooh! pretty! i love that! another kal on my list. uuuum?
It really is a great jacket, and I suspect it would be a lot of fun to knit. My plate's a little full right now, but I can't wait to see your progress!
Oh I like that jacket! I might have to think about making it...
