I'm enjoying my Olympics, both knitting and athletic. Yesterday, I watched downhill skiing whilst knitting away on Backyard Leaves. This morning, as giant snowflakes began to fall, I cast on for what will forever be my Zen Olympic mittens. From Lapland.

A couple of weeks ago I made the "mistake" of ordering a glass of merlot at a restaurant. Immediately, I was told by someone else sitting at the table that I really should order something more sophisticated. My reply was F#$% sophistication! Your mittens look lovely
