Jealous! What do I have:
1. A desk covered in paper.
2. A looming deadline.
3. 8 more hours of work.
:)

Ah, how nice... I've had Outlander on my shelf for a while. You must tell us if you enjoy it.

I adore the Outlander series! Once I started the first one I went right to the library and checked them all out because I couldn't take the risk that I'd have to wait before starting the next one! I tell every reader that they have to put that on their list of books to read.

Love the socks! They're so bright and perky. :)

You are truly a rich woman. I have to admit that reading is taking a backseat to knitting for me these days. I must learn to do both at the same time. Enjoy your riches!

I´m still at work - but it´s friday and I off in an hour. It´s hockey tonight, men´s semi finals, so I will have some take-away-food (maybe Pizza?) and my olympic Birch.. Have a nice weekend!

The Outlander series is wonderful!!!! It really draws you in and makes it hard to focus on the knitting and well breathing too. I'm currently reading the 5th book The Fiery Cross....enjoy!

Sounds heavenly - although I can't knit and read at the same time - so I'll take a movie - any movie.

Ya know, it just doesn't get any better than that. (though I'm with Lynda, I'd have to have a movie instead of a book if I'm gonna knit.)

Sounds like the perfect day...

I, like mintyfresh, am stuck in the office with a desk covered in paper and a looming deadline. Fortunately I'm only going to be here for like 5 or 6 more hours...and I have interesting blogs to read at lunch!

Hot black coffee and a bagel with lox spread are two of life's greatest pleasures! My friend and I meet up at a local bagel deli once a week for breakfast, and I look forward to it all week! It's almost always between a sesame with lox spread or asiago with heavy butter. Yum! I always bring the coffee hot and black from home- you can take the girl out of the ghetto... ;-) We both agree, though, that it's *almost* perfect... except we still have to figure out a way to get rid of the kids, LOL! ;-) Your socks look fabulous... enjoy your lovely day! Take care, Laura! :-)

What's totally hilarious is that I enjoyed these four things for approximately as long as it took to take the pictures and blog about it. Then S & J started agitating for a trip to Grandma's. I'm hoping to get back to that plan tonight, or tomorrow though!
