So Close, and Yet...

A sweater that needs seaming ...

... a purse that needs felting.

See, I have been knitting. Just not finishing.

Oh, boy, do I feel your pain. I have a sweater in that same un-seamed state that has been sitting in a drawer all summer.

Good luck with your nearly-finished UFOs! They look very promising!

I really like the handle on the bag. Please make sure you post a photo when it's felted, I bet it will look great.

I know the feeling, sadly!

*sigh* Finishing . . . the bane of many knitters everywhere. I recommend doing some seaming while watching Project Runway. Tim Gunn may do the trick.

Yeah. Not so much with the finishing round here either. I'm just happy to have the knitting done. Can't wait to see yours when you get them done though!

Finishing can be such a pain sometimes. On the plus side, once you finish them, you'll have several FO's to enjoy!

I hear ya . . . the finishing is always the worst part. I love patterns that just need a BO and a quick block. Maybe that's why I've been knitting socks and dishcloths lately. LOL

Oh, is that a Sophie bag?! I want to make one! (but I'll probably never felt it, not having my own washing machine!)

Finishing is tough. I just knit the felted clutch from One Skein and actually threw it in the washer right away. A change for me! Go do it--you'll be so happy to have it done!

The felting part is the best part! What're you waiting for? ;o)

At least it's better than frogging.

I'm also totally loving the handle on that bag. Will definitely try it myself, and anxious to see what it looks like felted. See - you've got an audience in suspense, here, you *have* to felt it now!

But...but...just one evening and you'll have two finished objects to enjoy! When I'm that close I can't wait to finish. It's so psychologically satisfying. I hope you find your motivation soon!

I definitely hear you ;) But you'll be finishing both projects in no time, and they're going to look great - they already do!
