This Is What You May See in October...

...if you live on the east side of Cleveland.

I guess my late nights on the patio with Thom Yorke and a Newcastle are out of the question for now.

heh... and if you were in LA it'd be 90 degrees and you would wonder where the Fall is. Enjoy the change of seasons!

I'm with Jen - here in So Cal it's 90+ and the hot wind is blowing like a banshee!

No snow in Stockholm, yet. But during my trip up north I saw a lot of it!

It was such a hot summer here that I've been enjoying the cold weather and occasional snow sprinklings. The wheel of the seasons grinds on!

HURRAH for snow! Yeah, I love winter. I love fall, too, but there is something magical about the first snow. Besides, now is the time that all those handknits start to come in handy :)

crazy! It's too early for snow. I'll stop complaining that I'm freezing when it hits 69 degrees here in Texas.

In Richmond (IN) there were flurries, with a real snowfall tonight. I'm a bit aprehensive- I live in a poorly-heated dorm room and it's my first midwestern winter!

It's wicked-cold here on the West Side, too. We've had some snow, but not too much is sticking - yet. I'm actually really excited because i LOVE to knit while it's snowing! But I HATE to drive in it!

No! Say it ain't so.

It's too early for snow and ice and all that. But if you've got it, then Boston can't be far behind. Sob!

Well, if you layered up in all sorts of knitted goods, you might be okay? And enough Newcastle could make you forget the cold...

Snow! I love winter, except for the ice maybe.. It's just to slippery! And not quite as picturesque as snow after all. Time for the warm winter clothes.
PS are you sure, it's really Thom Yorke on your patio? I could swear he is sometimes commuting with me in the bus in Reykjavik, muttering oddly and taking pictures of the other commuters with his mobile phone cam. (Seriously, there is a guy here in Iceland, who looks alarmingly like Thom Yorke. Haven't heard him singing yet)
