oh i love the colours in your socks. the yarn looks beautiful knit up. :0) x
I just completely can't get over that that's kool-aid dyed. No way.
Those colors are knitting up beautifully!
Kool-Aid! Gorgeous colors and I love sock knitting. Looking forward to the FO!
dabI love them too - that is the point when I feel like I am really getting somewhere! You are really getting a lot of socks done - I am jealous:)
I love a good heel flap too! Nice colors!
Is this that skein of Atlantic you just posted about? Because if it is, it is GORGEOUS.
Ok I have a question about the kool-aid dyeing thing because I noticed you did it this way. Are you mixing colors by mixing packets of different colors together? Or do you brew up a cup of blue, a cup of light blue, a cup of red, a cup of purple and then throw some of the mixed water together?
Because I first mixed packets together but found I had really little control over color that way. It was just guessing. So when I mixed the dyes together it worked out better. Is that always going to be the case or should I try mixing powders some more?
I love all those shades of blue. I can't believe it's kool aid. Nice work!
so so so beautiful!
Totally awesome colours!!
I heart Cascade 220. I heart worsted weight socks. And I definitely heart heel flaps.
I heart the colors in your Kool-Aid dyed Cascade 220. Very nice!
Laura, "Anonymous" is actually me. Blogger just decided to erase my identity. Thanks, Blogger!
Anyway, it wasn't a momentous comment, but I did want to set the record straight.
Oh that's such beautiful yarn! Looks lovely! :)
