In the Mood
... which were originally intended to be coasters, but turned out too big. And floppy. They remind me a little of fabric yo-yos, so I thought I'd make a bunch of them. What I'll do with them then, I haven't a clue. Table runner? Throw blanket? Line the backs with fabric? We'll see!

Those are so cute! And a great idea!
Bikini top? Antimacassars (those doilie things old people put on the arms and backs of sofas)? Knee pads? The possibilities are endless!
They are ice cream colors! Reminds me of a neopolitan (that may be horribly misspelled, I have no idea). I would say make a throw blanket, but that would mean you'd need lots of them.
Cute, though, and it reminds me that I need to get going on some dishclothes myself!
Maybe ice cream bowl coasters?
Yum, just like ice cream! They'd make a great outdoor blanket.. :)
I like the idea of using them for ice cream bowl coasters. :) and just in time for summer...
Make them a little bigger, then decrease for a few rows, and voila: berets!
I am on a Sugar 'n Cream kick myself right now--how about lil face cloths?
Oooh I've been dying to do some coasters. I was thinking of doing two of each and then sewing them together to make them more stiff. Or you could hold two together and crochet them together around the edge. Maybe you could also try puting in some cork inserts. That way it would add some rigidity but still absorb condensation the right way. They sell cork in packages at the local hardware store.
Croch-what? I don't know how to do it. It's a mystery to me... it makes such pretty coasters, though!
I like them! What about connecting two together and adding a little crochet chain for a small purse/pouch?
Pretty colors! They look addicting to make.
Is it totally weird that I want to learn to crochet for the exclusive purpose of making coasters?
By the way, I find it hilarious that you have a nice cold drink sitting on your table in that first shot...INSTEAD OF ON A COASTER!
Wow. Crochet. You've made it quite cute. (Somehow that's never the case when I do it. Hmmm.)
Go with any of Kim's ideas, and you're good.
