What I Have Been Doing

... other than neglecting my blog.

1. Still working on Babette.

2. Still looking for a job.

3. Coming around to the conclusion that the correct answer to the question John or Paul? is George.

4. Fixing things that need to be fixed.

5. Sewing the loudest quilt blocks in human history. It's for practice.

6. Eating very many tomato sandwiches.

7. Finishing up Fantine.

A new WIP. So much for discipline and virtue.

I was always a George girl. I thought Paul was a bit drippy and I would have liked John as a friend, but never a boyfriend. Looking back, I think George may have been the only time I was right about a man.

Thanks for the link.

Oh, you have to eat as many tomato sandwiches as possible while you can! Greenhouse tomatoes in the middle of winter just don't cut it.

Hey, Karen is finishing up her Fantine, check it out.

I love George. He always did make the most original and interesting music.

Disciple and virtue are totally overrated, especially when it means denying yourself pleasure. Listen to George, sew your loud quilt blocks, cast on indiscriminately. Please yourself.

Ooh, I just love that last comment! Thanks, Liz K!

Maybe I've said this before, but I'm in awe of your mad crocheting skillz. And yum! Tomato sammiches.

My mom bought the Interweave Crochet and now I also have the Babette pattern--she's already bought yarn but I'm stewing on the colors I want. I'm very curious to see how your variegated version is going to come out!

Best of luck with the jobsearch. You're so smart and capable, it shouldn't be too long!
